Farm Day 2008

This year's Farm Day will be Saturday, October 18th, from 11am to 5 pm.

Help us plan our activities! Contact Liana if you'd be interesting in volunteering. Or jot Farm Day into your palm pilot so you'll be sure to join us for a day of fun for the whole family. Farm Manager leads an educational farm tour, and kid activities for all ages are held throughout the day.

Farm produce is available for sale and for tasting. Our hot soups keep you warm no matter the weather. Other vendors are invited to offer their wares.

This year our 8th annual Poetry Reading will start at 3:30pm, followed by live music!

More info will be forthcoming!

Our Raffle sales begin in late August, early September! Participate in our annual fall fundraiser; our prizes are gift certificates donated by our client restaurants. Raffle tickets cost $5 each or $25 for 6. Raffle drawing will take place on farm day.

Visit our gallery of Farm Day 2007, which featured New York poets Brenda Coultas and Paul Pines. Following the poets, live music was provided by Russ Gershon of Either/Orchestra of Cambridge, MA, with The Intimate Ensemble, and guest Ethiopian vibes musician Mulatu Astatke.
